The new century demands reforms and new ideologies

We have revolts in the Arab World and here in the US- Occupy Wall Street. Here is what I wrote in my new book Redefining Leadership, Part IV, Page 174, Subtitle: ‘The new century demands reforms and new ideologies’: “If changes are not in place soon, many countries will experience more revolutions and revolts. We have already seen revolts in the Arab World where individuals have been denied of their individual rights for so many years. What was the outcome of this deprivation of right? Wasn’t it a kind of expanded wide ranging revolution, it was. Not only in the Arab World, as we launch ourselves deep into the new era expect this, in those social fabrics where there is big gap between the have and haven’t, the conflict between classes, and so on may lead to unpredictable revolutions with unwanted consequences.

The most viable solution to avoid ongoing and pending social revolutions is letting individuals lead their uniqueness towards fulfillment. Those who are on top today should sense the coming season and make changes that allow each citizen to pursue their unique destiny while working together for a common destiny. Nations, parties, and communities should create room in their political system and ideologies that allow individuals to seek their uniqueness while still having common goals towards the survival and progress of their respective community and nation.”
